 The ' L I T T L E ' Things~


As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.
你可能記得吧 ~~有個公司老闆逃過了911雙子星大樓劫難 --- 因為他兒子那天開始上幼兒園. 

Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.
另一個傢伙僥倖逃過一劫因為那天輪到他去買甜甜圈.

One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.
一位女士因為遲到上班而逃過一劫因為那天她的鬧鐘沒響.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an auto accident.
另外一個人被困在紐澤西高速道路上面 --- 因為那天有個車禍.

One of them missed his bus.
逃過一劫的還有一位那天沒趕上交通巴士的.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.
一位女士不小心在吃東西時弄髒了衣服而必須回家換衣服(而逃過一劫).

One's car wouldn't start.
有個人的車子那天怎麼也發不動.

One couldn't get a taxi.
有人那天叫不到出租車(的士) .

The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today..
最讓我印象深刻的一位 --- 是一位穿上新鞋去上班的先生 --- 他想了各種方法要去上班, 但是在他到達辦公室之前他的腳已經起泡了. 他在路上走進一家藥房去買貼片. --- 這是他為何至今仍然活著的原因…

所以現在當我
Stuck in traffic ,

卡在塞車當中時,
Miss an elevator,

錯過電梯時,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone ...

(必須)轉身回去接一個響了的電話時…
All the little things that annoy me.

所有讓我很煩的小事.
I think to myself,

我就自己想,
This is exactly where

現在這狀況就是
God wants me to be

上帝要我存在的狀況
At this very moment..
就在這非常的時刻裡…
Next time your morning seems to be going wrong ,
所以下次, 你的早上好像每件事都不對頭時,

You can't seem to find the car keys,

你似乎找不到你車的鑰匙,

You hit every traffic light,

你沿路都遇到紅燈,
Don't get mad or frustrated;

不要生氣或是覺得煩;
It May be just that God is at work watching over you.
  那很可能就是上帝正工作著在守護著你.
May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things

但願上帝繼續用所有那些煩人的小事來加持祝福你!
And may you remember their possible purpose.
  也但願你記得他們的可能目的.
